Using Garfield at Large(96 pages) as an arbitrary reference, I will need 88 more Beary comics before I can fill an entire book with the exact same joke. At my current rate of production, Beary’s first book (working title: Bear a Jape) can be expected around 2044. It’s not often that a writer can so precisely count down to the creation of their magnum opus.
