In the world of Santa Claus Academia, Zwarte Piet (aka Black Peter) was a Moorish trickster who caused torment to a number of people until The Saint defeated him in battle and turned Zwarte Piet to the side of good. Some time after The Saint’s death, it was discovered that Zwarte Piet wasn’t actually a Moor but a white Dutchman in blackface named Hans. The whole scandal was extremely awkward and embarrassing for all parties involved, so everyone just kind of agreed to forget about Hans and let him disappear into obscurity.

Krampus doesn’t really pay much attention to the outside world, so this whole thing just passed him by.
