The Eyes of Truth is a miracle known only to members of the Confessors of Truth faction. Within territory under the full jurisdiction of The Order of Truth, Confessors are free to utilize this spell whenever they deem it necessary. However, under the laws of the Free City of Nexton (and other territories where the Order’s authority is limited), Confessors may only use this technique if they have “reasonable suspicion” of the citizen they are using the technique on. “Reasonably suspicious behavior” may include hostile action towards a law enforcer, attempts to flee from a law enforcer, or attempts to deceive a law enforcer.
