But a Jape

Special Friday update – introducing Santa Claus Academia, my upcoming Christmas special comic! What started off as a one-shot comic idea that would just consist of this parody shonen manga cover ended up growing into something bigger than I expected and now it’s an 8-part series that I plan on releasing gradually throughout the Christmas season. I started work sometime in September but didn’t really get too active on it until this month, which is when I’ve practically been working nonstop.

I’ve got the rest of November’s But a Jape comics ready to publish, so hopefully I can finish up SCA before my backlog runs out and I can stay on schedule with BaJ for December. Otherwise, SCA would probably take BaJ‘s December time slots. Either way, SCA’s my most ambitious project so far so hopefully all this effort amounts to something worthwhile!
