Crows in this world are both feared and revered as emissaries of the God of Truth, being The Word’s most extensive network of informants and spies.

It is also widely believed that a crow never lies; if ever their words seem not to line up with reality, it is up to the listener to interpret whether they are speaking in riddles or in prophecy. Or perhaps they are repeating, verbatim, the lies of a guilty conscience, pressing them to confess to spreading falsehoods. Really, if you don’t understand what the crows are trying to tell you, it’s kinda on you.
